Lucy & Duncan - Longview Vineyard
Musos.
I love 'em.
Even though my bass wouldn't even recognise me if we passed each other on the street and is gathering (even more) dust as I type this, I still feel like a muso on the inside. I like to think of it as an attitude to life and an appreciation of the sometimes intangible.
When I first sat down with Duncan and Lucy, I didn't know at the time that they are both immensely musically talented (Lucy is a classical double bassist and Duncan a multi-instrumentalist), but we just clicked.
There is soooo much to love about their wedding day and I literally could not cull down the number their photos that I wanted to share with you any further than I already have. Simon Bills is just amazing and the story he has captured here is incredible.
Seriously, just have a scroll through these and you will feel as if you know the Bride and Groom.
Make sure you get to the end, though.
As Lucy describes: "The song we sang was 'God Only Knows' by the Beach Boys. We decided to sing a song because we are both musical, and we were much more comfortable performing in that way than dancing.
We both love the Beach Boys, and their music was a feature on the day in the ceremony music as well.
'God Only Knows' is a beautiful, simple song, and it also has Christmas connotations. As a bonus, we didn't need to spend much time rehearsing it because Duncan had actually planned to sing the song on the day as a surprise to me (with Laurence, the best man). But I really wanted to sing it and the surprise was ruined!"
Enjoy ox.

Alex and Tom's wedding was a stunning black-tie event that perfectly captured their fun-loving spirits. The couple chose to write their own vows, adding a personal touch to the ceremony that had everyone in stitches and reaching for the tissues as well. Their main goal? To feel happy and in the moment, with lots of laughs and happy tears.
Their ceremony was a testament to their enduring love story, light-hearted and filled with joy, exactly as they envisioned.
