Emily and Sam's Romantic Adelaide Hills Wedding

Sam and Emily make time to see their families, to share special moments together, and they love to talk on the phone often.

They wanted to bring the warmth and appreciation, that had always been shown towards them, into their wedding ceremony too.

With COVID border closures, the tyranny of distance and for those who'd passed away, some of their family were not able to be with us in person, so we incorporated them and their interests as much as we could through readings, a memorial and with a big smoochy kiss right down Alex's lens. 😅

Not even the rain in the middle of the ceremony could stop the excitement and emotion of their big day. After their vows and exchange of rings, as the drizzle began to start getting a little harder, I made an executive decision to cut the ceremony a little short.

This meant that Emily and Sam were able to have a big pash in front of their magnificent crescent arbour before dashing under the verandah for cover and signing their marriage certificates later on.

I'm proud to have helped them to create such wonderful memories together; Sam and Emily and their families are very special people.

I hope you enjoy this abbreviated photo gallery of some of their incredible wedding day as captured by Alex Szczesniak of Time With Alex.
