Light and fun - Kim and Will
When I met with Kim and Will in 2014 about their 2015 wedding, the aim for their wedding day was already pretty clear; they wanted to keep it real, relevant, light-hearted and fun. They had several friends travelling from overseas to celebrate with them and didn't want to subject them to a long, monotonous ceremony; they had a reception to get to!
For me, that's gold. I love creating and performing wedding ceremonies that are modern and to-the-point and where the couple are wanting to have a laugh as well.
As you can see from their photos by Tanya Simmonds of Little Weddings by TS Photography, I think we hit the brief.
Tanya offers something quite different for wedding couples, which suited Will and Kim down to the ground:
"My wedding photography packages range from 1 to 5 hours, so I don't usually cover the entire day. That is the idea behind Little Weddings; it's ideal for couples who want simple and elegant professional photography, but don't want the big fuss, just the key moments captured.
I have found that there are many people who only want a few hours of wedding photography of the highest quality (which is my speciality) , but they don't know where to go. I would love to help these people out!"
Alex and Tom's wedding was a stunning black-tie event that perfectly captured their fun-loving spirits. The couple chose to write their own vows, adding a personal touch to the ceremony that had everyone in stitches and reaching for the tissues as well. Their main goal? To feel happy and in the moment, with lots of laughs and happy tears.
Their ceremony was a testament to their enduring love story, light-hearted and filled with joy, exactly as they envisioned.
