It's my brother's fault that I became a marriage celebrant.

It was over 10 years ago when my brother, Ty, married his soulmate in a relaxed, garden ceremony in Bridgewater. His only non-negotiable request (apart from diva-like requests for certain foods and drinks) was that he did not want to stand up in front of his family and closest friends beside someone who didn't know him.

The thought of having a celebrant preach about him and his relationship with my sister-in-law, making assumptions about their values and interests, made him feel like he wasn't being true to himself.

He asked me to conduct their wedding ceremony and on that gorgeous spring day, I discovered what I'm great at. And although I'm not family to every couple, your ceremony can absolutely feel like it; warm, relaxed, fun and familiar (but not too familiar, like we've been friends for life - that's just creepy).

Get in touch and let's get started - I want to know what you're passionate about.
